Delete your Roamkeep account

In the app

1. Open Settings

   Open Roamkeep and tap the cog at the top of the screen.

2. Tap Leave and delete my account

   It's at the bottom of Settings. Read what will be deleted, type DELETE and confirm.

That deletes your sign-in, your membership of your family's Keep, your location history and your check-ins from your family's server, straight away. Places you added stay with your family. It can't be undone, and the phone signs out. Leaving your family and deleting your account are one step, so you can't leave and keep the account.

Children

A member marked as a child can't delete their own account, just as they can't leave the Keep. In Settings → Leave and delete my account, a child taps Ask to leave and delete my account. The family's owners are told, and an owner deletes it. A child can always disconnect their phone meanwhile, in Settings → Disconnect this device, and the family sees that they did.

Owners

• Someone else's account: in the Family tab, tap Remove on their card. Removing someone deletes their account, not only their membership in the Keep: their sign-in, location history and check-ins. Declining someone's request to join deletes the account they made to ask, too. A child's request waits at the top of the Family tab, under Asked to delete their account, with a Delete account button.
• Your own account: if you are the only owner and other people are still in your Keep, make someone else an owner first.
• Everything at once: deleting your family's Supabase project deletes every account, place and location your family ever recorded, immediately. In Supabase, open the project, then Project settings → Delete project.

What we hold

Nothing. Your account, your locations and your history are stored only in your family's own database. The developer of Roamkeep has no copy and no access to it, and the relay that wakes phones keeps no record. So there is nothing for us to delete, and no request to send us.
